Learn how to use SOCRR to analyze your SOC reports

Getting Started

Logging In

  1. Navigate to the application URL
  2. Enter your email and password
  3. Click Login

Note: If this is your first login, you will be prompted to change your password. Your new password must be at least 8 characters and contain letters, numbers, and special characters.

Understanding the Usage Badge

After logging in, you'll see a usage badge in the top-right corner of the header that shows your analysis quota:

1 used Green badge: Shows your current usage count. If you have unlimited access, it displays total analyses performed.

3 / 10 "X / Y" format: Shows usage count vs. your limit (e.g., "3 / 10" means 3 analyses used out of 10 allowed)

8 / 10 Yellow badge: Warning that you're approaching your limit (2 or fewer remaining)

10 / 10 Red badge: Usage limit reached - contact us at support@auditram.com for more access

Tip: Hover over the badge to see how many analyses you have remaining.

Running a SOC Report Analysis

Step 1: Enter Organization Details

  1. User Organization Name: Enter the name of the organization being reviewed
  2. Financial Audit Period: Select the start and end dates for the audit period

Step 2: Upload Files

Click or drag files into the upload zone. The application accepts:

File Type Description Limit
SOC Reports SOC1 or SOC2 reports in PDF format Max 2 files
Bridge Letters Gap coverage letters (optional) Max 2 files
Internal Controls Your organization's control documentation (optional) Max 1 file

Supported formats: PDF, CSV, TXT, DOCX, XLSX, XLS

Password-Protected PDFs

If you upload a password-protected PDF, a dialog will appear asking for the password. Enter the password and click Submit to unlock the file.

Step 3: Analyze

Click the Analyze Reports button to start the AI analysis. The process may take a few minutes depending on the size of your reports.

Understanding the Results

After analysis completes, you'll see results organized into tabs:

General Report Overview

Provides high-level information extracted from the SOC report:

Subservice Organizations & CSOCs

Lists all subservice organizations mentioned in the report:

Control Exceptions

Details any control exceptions or deviations found:

CUEC Assessment

Complementary User Entity Controls (CUECs) that your organization should implement:

Exporting Results

Click the Download Excel button to export all analysis results to an Excel spreadsheet. The export includes all tabs with proper formatting for easy review and documentation.

Analyzing Multiple Reports

You can upload up to 2 SOC reports in a single analysis. When multiple reports are uploaded:

Tip: Click the Upload New button to return to the upload screen and start a fresh analysis.

Tips for Best Results

  1. Use clear, searchable PDFs: Scanned documents may produce less accurate results
  2. Include bridge letters: If your audit period has gaps, bridge letters help provide complete coverage assessment
  3. Upload internal controls: This enables better CUEC mapping to your existing controls
  4. Check the audit period: Ensure the dates match your financial statement audit period

Troubleshooting

"Usage limit reached" Error

Your account has a maximum number of allowed analyses. Contact us at support@auditram.com to request an increase to your limit.

File Upload Errors

Analysis Taking Too Long

Large SOC reports may take several minutes to process. If the analysis seems stuck:

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Try refreshing the page and re-uploading
  3. Contact support if the issue persists
